ABOUT

NAAICE!

I bought my first sewing machine in 2010 when I was 13 years old. That was the start of a hobby that would get out of hand.

In 2015 I went to study Industrial Design at the University of Technology in Delft, The Netherlands. At my student association I found out that a lot of promotional material is thrown away after short use: for example after the student introduction week (OWee). I thought that was a shame!

I collected a few banners to experiment with. It worked fine on my normal sewing machine. Moreover, my fellow students were wildly enthusiastic about the products that I made for them.

In 2020 I registered with the Chamber of Commerce as a freelancer. With my company NAAICE I focus on developing new designs, but also on spreading the message to waste less valuable material.

WHAT DOES NAAICE DO FOR SUSTAINABILITY?

SUSTAINABILITY

With my projects I aim to contribute to the circular economy, where raw materials are not exhausted and materials lose as little value as possible at each life stage of the product.

Moreover, all products are made by hand in the Netherlands. High quality fittings (zippers, straps) are used to ensure that the products last as long as possible.
